Advice Guru is a unique learning abd business development platform created by Stuart Powell. Stuart has decades of experience in both residential and later life lending and created Advice Guru to help educate, empower and support both consumers and advisers in achieving better knowledge and financial outcomes. Advice Guru is a fantastic online resource for advisers, with many of the tools and content being completely free to access. If you want to grow your advice practice and are looking for help along the way, becoming a member is your first step towards a more successful business.

No. Our site has been designed as an educational tool, it is not a lead generation funnel for our own advisory business. We will always encourage consumers to go back to their existing adviser for any product recommendations and further financial advice.

No, you can cancel your membership at any time but please note that membership fees are non-refundable. We offer a monthly fee option for those who want the maximum flexibility when it comes to membership.

Yes you can and you can do this at any time. If you move up a tier, you will be charged the new tier rate on a pro-rata basis for the current month or remaining year, depending on which fee option you chose. If you go down a tier, there will be no refund of any membership fees already paid.

The membership fees for our Gold and Platinum tiers are per adviser. However, if you are the principal of a firm consisting of 5 or more advisers, we’re always happy to discuss a group discount on bulk membership. Contact us at enquiries@adviceguru.co.uk to chat this through.

Yes and the percentage differs depending on which tier you are in. You should consult our Terms & Conditions for more details, but we have set our introducer rates at levels we believe are fair and reasonable based on feedback from our members.

We take a percentage of the proc fee only for leads we introduce to you. We believe the advice fee is yours and yours alone – you provide the advice, not us.

When it comes to the Learning Zone content, this must remain branded as Advice Guru. However, we do plan to offer a range of tools that can be white labelled by advisers. The first of these is a Borrowing Calculator for later life lending

No. We want to encourage as many people as possible to join Advice Guru. Our main target is of course consumers and financial advisers, but we also want Solicitors to join, introducers and anyone else connected to the customer journey.

Yes absolutely! In fact we believe our site can be a powerful marketing tool for advisers in terms of increasing the number and quality of leads they send your way. We know how difficult if can be to build strong, profitable business relationships with introducers who don’t understand your market or specialist area of advice. The Advice Guru resources can help you educate your introducers and arm them with the knowledge they need to seek out and qualify potential leads from their own customer base.
